Tanalised timber boards can be used in the construction of raised garden beds, or other outdoor projects. This high quality timber is British whitewood and is a 70% FSC mix, and is pressure treated for long life (please see details below). Our treatment process gives timber a proven performance of 5-10 years, and in many cases much longer.

Each board measures 38mm wide and 89mm thick. It is commonly referred to as 2x4 and has a nominal size of 50x100mm. They are kiln dried.

Pressure Treatment Details:
Active ingredients - copper carbonate/copper hydroxide (1:1), propiconazole, tebuconazole, didecyldimethylammonium chloride. The tanalisation process is known as "Tanalith E 8000".
